*Lasting: means continuous for a long time. Ex “Long lasting.”
*Swear by something: to believe in something. Ex “I swear by the drugs.”
*Therapy: a kind of treatment. In this case therapy is acupuncture.
*Skeptical: to doubt, to not believe something.
*Herbal: from plant.
*Injure: =hurt.
*What do I have to lose: It can’t hurt, and it may help.
